Brazil to Face Argentina with Six Changes in the Starting XI

Brazil will face Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday at Monumental Stadium. The match will kick off at 6:00 AM Bangladesh time. Two days before the match, Brazilian media outlet Globo revealed Brazil’s starting XI.

According to Globo, head coach Dorival Júnior has made six changes to the team that played against Colombia last Friday.

Key Changes in Brazil’s Starting XI

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who played against Colombia, is ruled out due to a head injury. Weverton has been called up as a replacement, but Bento will start against Argentina.

Midfielder Gerson is also unavailable due to injury.

Defenders Gabriel Magalhães and midfielder Bruno Guimarães are suspended after receiving their second yellow cards against Colombia.

In their places, Beraldo (defender), João Gomes (midfielder), and Ederson (goalkeeper) have been included in the squad.

Against Argentina, Dorival Júnior will field Bento, Murillo, André, and Joelinton in place of Alisson, Magalhães, Guimarães, and Gerson.

Additionally, Wesley França and Manchester City winger Savinho, who were substitutes against Colombia, will be in the starting lineup against Argentina, replacing Vanderson and Rodrygo.

Brazil will look to bounce back after a disappointing result against Colombia, while Argentina will aim to secure a win to confirm their World Cup qualification.
