Washington, D.C., March 7, 2025: First Lady Melania Trump has announced that the White House will open its gardens and grounds to the public for the 2025 Spring Garden Tours. The event will take place on Saturday, April 5, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Sunday, April 6, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the South Lawn, the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, the Rose Garden, and the White House Kitchen Garden. The event is free of charge, but all attendees, including small children, will need a timed ticket to enter.
Tickets will be distributed by the National Park Service on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 8:30 AM each day at a tent outside the White House Visitor Center, located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC.
A list of prohibited items includes aerosols, backpacks, beverages, firearms, and more. Strollers, wheelchairs, umbrellas (without metal tips), and cameras are allowed, with medical necessities permitted upon identification to Secret Service personnel.
