Trump Urges Elon Musk to Be More Aggressive

U.S. President Donald Trump has faced widespread criticism for layoffs and budget cuts aimed at reducing pressure on the federal government. However, on Saturday (February 22), he urged billionaire Elon Musk to be even more aggressive in downsizing the federal government. This report comes from British news agency Reuters.

On his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Elon is doing an incredible job. However, I want him to work even more aggressively. Everyone should remember that we have a duty to save the country. But our ultimate goal is to make the United States greater than ever before.”

After returning to the White House, Trump established an independent advisory body called the Department of Government Efficiency (DGE). This body, led by Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk, has already recommended thousands of job cuts and the suspension of funding for various projects.
