Daniel Craig Reacts as James Bond Producers Step Back

Daniel Craig has responded to the major shift in the James Bond franchise following the announcement that longtime producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are stepping back from creative control.

In a statement, Craig expressed his admiration for the duo, saying, “My respect, admiration, and love for Barbara and Michael remain constant and undiminished. I wish Michael a long, relaxing (and well-deserved) retirement, and whatever ventures Barbara goes on to do, I know they will be spectacular, and I hope I can be part of them.”

Wilson, who has worked on Bond films for nearly 60 years, announced he is retiring to focus on art and charitable projects. Broccoli, meanwhile, will pursue other ventures after overseeing four different Bond actors and concluding Craig’s tenure with No Time To Die.

With Amazon MGM Studios now taking over creative direction, the future of 007 remains uncertain, with no new Bond actor yet announced.
