Messi’s Match Postponed Due to Bad Weather

In the end, Lionel Messi’s CONCACAF Champions Cup match was postponed. The match between Inter Miami and Sporting Kansas City was scheduled to start on Wednesday morning in Kansas City. But due to heavy snowstorm, the match was postponed by 24 hours.

In a statement, CONCACAF authorities said that the match at Children’s Mercy Park will now start at 7pm local time on Wednesday. That is, the match will start at 7 am Bangladesh time on Thursday.

“The first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup Round 1 series between Sporting Kansas City and Inter Miami CF has been rescheduled due to possible inclement weather,” CONCACAF said in a statement. According to the weather forecast, severe weather will prevail in the Kansas City metropolitan area over the next 24 hours, with the possibility of heavy snowfall. ’

“Sources have told me that Messi does not want to play against Sporting Kansas City on Tuesday (local time) in this terrible cold,” journalist Franco Panijo said. Whether he will play or not is yet to be confirmed. However, Messi is likely not to play in the first match of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. ’

The match was postponed by a day. Although the snow is reduced, the temperature is less likely to rise. Will Messi play this match?
