14 Minutes from Marmous as Man City Storm Blow Newcastle Away

Old Manchester City has been seen after a long time at the home ground Etihad in the English Premier League. In the 19-33 minutes of the first half, Marmous stormed Newcastle United, who were sixth in the table. The Egyptian forward, who joined the Citizens team on January 23, has seen the first hat-trick in the EPL before the month has passed. Man City won 4-0.

The Citizens were aggressive from the first minute at the Etihad. The first success came in the 19th minute, goalkeeper Ederson Marquez increased the ball in the long pass from the D box, a little after the midfield, the forward Marmous got the ball. The forward lifted the ball over the goalkeeper’s head from outside Newcastle United’s D box, Man City went 1-0 ahead.

Five minutes later, Marmous scored again. German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan assisted on the goal. The forward got the ball before the D box, with a strong shot, the ball on the right side of the goalkeeper in the net. There was nothing to do but watch the Newcastle players. City were 2-0 in five minutes.

In just the second match, Marmous saw the first hat-trick of EPL career in the 33rd minute. Winger Savinho, who entered Newcastle United’s D box from the right side, increased the ball in the box, getting it and scored the first hat-trick of his career with a great shot. City went into the break 3-0 ahead in the first half.

Newcastle United were very aggressive after returning from the break. However, the city’s defense could not be broken in any way to return to form. On the contrary, the Newcastle goalkeeper saved the team from several attacks. In the 76th minute, hat-trickman Marmous was taken off the field.

James Makiti knocked the last nail in Newcastle’s coffin in the 84th minute. The Englishman scored the first goal in the EPL by getting the ball in the D-box from the corner taken by Gundogan. Pep Guardiola’s disciples have risen to four in the table with a 4-0 win at the Etihad.
