No Point in Talks With Putin: Navalnaya

Yulia Navalny, the wife of the late Alexei Navalny, a critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has warned that there is no point in trying to negotiate with Putin to end the war in Ukraine.

Sunday marks the first anniversary of Navalny’s death. “If you decide to negotiate with Putin, remember he’s lying,” Navalnaya said at the Munich Security Conference on Friday. He will betray. He will change his rules at the last minute and force him to play his own game. ’

“There are two possible outcomes of any deal with Putin,” Navalnaya said. If he stays in power, he will find a way to break the deal. If he loses power, the deal will be meaningless. ’

On Friday, Navalnaya spoke at a panel conference with exiled Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.

Zelensky wants security guarantees

At the Munich summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sought security guarantees from the West in the deal with Russia. US Vice President J.D. Vance was also present at the conference. At the conference, Zelensky said he wanted more talks with the White House before finding any clues to end the war.

Earlier, Zelensky gave an interview on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press with Kristen Welker’. “Without U.S. assistance, Ukraine’s chances of surviving in the face of Russia’s invasion are slim,” he said.

Zelensky’s comments came as US President Donald Trump spoke by phone with him and Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this week. Trump wants an immediate end to the war in Ukraine. To this end, he wants to start diplomatic talks.
