What Gifts Did Modi Give to Elon Musk’s Children?

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is spending a busy time on his two-day visit to the United States. He has already met with U.S. President Donald Trump. Before that, Modi met with one of Trump’s key advisors and the world’s richest man, Elon Musk.

On Thursday (February 13), during their meeting at Blair House in Washington, Musk’s partner Shivon Zilis and their three children were present. Modi exchanged greetings with them and gave gifts to the children.

According to Indian news outlet NDTV, Modi gifted three books to the children: The Crescent Moon by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, The Great R.K. Narayan Collection, and Panchatantra by Pandit Vishnu Sharma.

Photos shared by the Prime Minister on X showed Musk’s children reading these books. The children seemed delighted to receive the gifts.

In his post, Modi wrote: “It was a pleasure to meet Elon Musk’s family and discuss various topics.”

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time since assuming office for a second term. On Thursday, they held a meeting at the White House, discussing multiple issues, including trade and immigration.

After the meeting, a journalist asked Trump:
“What is your opinion on Bangladesh? It is clear that during the Biden administration, the U.S. deep state was involved in changing the government in Bangladesh. Even Muhammad Yunus met with Junior Soros. What is your perspective on the matter?”

Trump responded:
“There was no role of our deep state in this matter. This is an issue that Prime Minister (Modi) has been working on for a long time, and to be honest, it has been a subject of work for hundreds of years. But I am leaving this matter to the Prime Minister (Modi).”
