97th Oscars: Final Nominees Announced

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has officially revealed the nominees in three key categories for the 97th Oscars® ahead of the live broadcast on Sunday, March 2, 2025. The nominees in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film, and Best Picture categories were determined after the Academy’s initial nominations announcement on January 23, 2025. With a total of 220 individual nominees across 23 categories, these films stand out as the best in their respective fields.

As per the Academy’s guidelines, producers must meet eligibility requirements set by the Producers Guild of America (PGA) or successfully appeal any PGA eligibility decisions to qualify as producer nominees for Best Picture.

Academy members will have the opportunity to vote for the winners in all 23 categories from February 11 to February 18, 2025.

The 97th Oscars will be held live on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC, streamed on Hulu, and available to watch in over 200 territories worldwide.
