Trump: I Am Committed to Purchasing and Owning Gaza

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that he is committed to purchasing the Gaza Strip and taking ownership of it. He also mentioned that due to prolonged and continuous military operations, Gaza has become uninhabitable.

He further stated that if any country is willing to invest in Gaza’s development after the U.S. purchases it, that country would be welcomed.

On Sunday, Trump traveled from Washington to the state of Louisiana aboard Air Force One, the aircraft designated for the U.S. President, accompanied by several journalists. During the flight, he answered various questions from the journalists.

In response to a question, Trump said, “I am committed to purchasing and taking ownership of the Gaza Strip. The territory has been destroyed and is currently uninhabitable. The people living there are suffering from extreme insecurity.”

“But we can rebuild this land beautifully and in a developed manner. If other countries want to participate in this initiative, we will welcome them. It will be a very beautiful city, and people from all over the world will come to live here.”

Trump also hinted at relocating Palestinians currently residing in Gaza. Regarding this, he said, “We must also take care of the Palestinians living there. They should be assured that they can live safely and peacefully with everyone. They must be promised that they will not be victims of violence. Right now, the place where they are living is the most dangerous and unsafe place in the world.”

When asked whether there were any plans to bring Palestinian refugees from Gaza to the United States, Trump responded, “I need to look into that. Every year, we accept people from different parts of the world. But their situation is a bit different. The geographical distance between Gaza and the U.S. is vast, and traveling such a long distance would be difficult for them.”

“In my opinion, they should be relocated to an area where they are familiar with the environment and where it would be easier for them to adapt. Jordan or Egypt could step in. Saudi Arabia and other wealthy nations could spend money on housing and resettling these Palestinians.”

“They have enormous wealth. If they spend just a fraction of that money, millions of Palestinians could live a safe and peaceful life.”

“You can think of Gaza as a large and significant real estate asset, and the United States will gradually take ownership of this land. We will bring stability to the Middle East, and we will take over the Gaza Strip, which has been the source of many problems in the region.”
