Trump Reinstates “Maximum Pressure” Sanctions on Iran, Warns of Severe Repercussions for Assassination Attempts

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Amid ongoing investigations into two assassination attempts against him, President Donald Trump has reiterated his stern stance on Iran, warning of severe repercussions should the country be involved in any such plots. Trump, while signing a memorandum to reinstate his “maximum pressure” sanctions policy, stated, “If I were assassinated by Iran, the country would be obliterated.”

Authorities continue to probe the incidents, focusing on the suspects’ connections, digital footprints, and potential affiliations. Trump’s demand for transparency and more details about the motives behind the attacks and any possible foreign involvement remains a priority.
