Dinklage, Franco, and Jackson Jr. Join Forces for “The Shitheads” Comedy

Peter Dinklage, Dave Franco, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. are joining forces for a new comedy film titled The Shitheads. Written and directed by Macon Blair, the film will feature Franco as Mark, a “cynical degenerate,” and Jackson as Davis, a “bumbling idealist.” The duo, both hitting rock bottom, sign up for a shady transport service where they are tasked with taking a troubled teen named Sheridan to rehab.

However, things quickly spiral out of control. As the road trip progresses, Sheridan has other plans, turning the journey into an “unhinged odyssey” filled with drug-fueled disasters, near-death experiences, and criminal encounters. The film’s synopsis reveals that Mark and Davis, out of their minds and in over their heads, ultimately learn that it’s not about the destination, but the “shitheads” they meet along the way.

Details about Dinklage’s role in the film remain under wraps. The Game of Thrones star previously worked with Blair on the 2024 action-comedy Brothers, where he starred alongside Josh Brolin. Dinklage and Blair are also collaborating on The Toxic Avenger, a reimagining of the 1984 cult classic, in which Dinklage plays Winston Gooze, a janitor who transforms into a mutant vigilante after a freak accident.

The Toxic Avenger recently premiered at Fantastic Fest and is set to hit US cinemas this year, promising an action-packed, fun, and rowdy experience for moviegoers. Blair has expressed his excitement about the film’s upcoming release, calling it “perfect entertainment for the whole family.”

The Shitheads is expected to bring a wild, comedic twist to the road trip genre, with Dinklage, Franco, and Jackson Jr. leading the charge.
