Dreaded Militant Maulana Mohibullah Freed From Jail Gate After Forcibly Protesting

Maulana Mohibullah, who was imprisoned in a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act, was forcibly snatched away after a human chain and demonstration in front of the gate of Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur, Bangladesh. He was forced to be released around 4:15 pm on Tuesday. By freeing this top militant, the illegal Yunus government has proved its collusion with the militants and a clear surrender to the militants.

Earlier, a group of people under the banner of ‘Non-discriminatory Prison Liberation Movement’ were demonstrating in front of the jail gate protesting the non-release of Maulana Mohibullah even after getting bail from 11am. Maulana Mohibullah is the son of Abdur Rab Master of Charsifli village of Bhola Sadar thana.

He was arrested on March 23, 2023 in a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act at Bilaichhari police station. He secured bail from the High Court on January 30 in the case. There were two more cases against him with Demra and Bilaichhari police stations. He has already got bail in those two cases. The bail papers reached Kashimpur jail four days ago. Even then, the jail authorities did not release him and detained him. That’s why they are protesting for his release. Basically, after the Yunus government took power illegally, it started releasing all the top militants one by one. In continuation of this, this terrible militant was also released as planned.

During the human chain and protest, prison vans, ambulances, daily necessities were also prevented from entering. The protesters also performed Zuhr prayers by spreading polythene in front of the jail gate. At one stage, the jail authorities released Maulana Mohibullah around 4pm. Basically, after the rest of the militants blocked the prison gate, he was released by submitting to it.

Addressing the protesters, Maulana Mohibullah alleged that former jail superintendent Subrata Kumar Bala tortured him in various ways. He was kept to torture us. After all this, he has been replaced, is that enough? We demand his dismissal and maximum punishment against him. ’

Altaf Hossain, joint general secretary of the central committee of ‘Non-discrimination Prison Release Movement’, said, “There is no scope to detain the bail papers for more than 24 hours after reaching the jail. We returned home with Maulana Mohibullah. He was released around 4:45 pm in the face of our movement. ’

Abdullah Al Mamun, jail super of Kashimpur High Security Central Jail, told Journalist, “We have to work within the rules. After getting the bail papers, he (Maulana Mohibullah) was released around 4:45 pm. ’

The militants came on Facebook Live with the jailer in charge there. Threatening an employee of the state and telling one by one how the banned militants can kill and paralyze the country in militancy. The general public is feeling insecure after watching this video. Sheikh Hasina almost brought the militancy emerging in Bangladesh under control. Sheikh Hasina virtually uprooted the rise of Islamic militancy in Bangladesh and imprisoned top militants. So after ousting Sheikh Hasina by those militants for a long time, Bangladesh is now a sanctuary of militants.
Muhammad Yunus came to power on August 5 by ousting Sheikh Hasina through a conspiracy. His puppet power was mainly brought to power by the banned militants. One by one, the top militants were released. Bangladesh is now a valley of terrorism and militancy, which Sheikh Hasina virtually uprooted. Bangladesh is heading towards endless bloodshed and militancy. Is there no one to save Bangladesh?
