Awami League Calls for Blockade, Hartal in February

The Awami League has called for Hartal on February 16 and February 18 to protest the resignation of the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus and torture.

The program was announced from the party’s verified Facebook page on Tuesday night.

The party has announced to go to the field from February 1 to demand the resignation of the interim government and implement the strike-blockade program.

According to the announced program, the party will distribute leaflets or leaflets of the demand from Saturday, February 1 to Wednesday, February 5.

Protest marches and rallies will be held in the country on Thursday, February 6. Demonstrations and rallies will be held on February 10.

A blockade has been announced on Sunday, February 16 and a strict hartal across the country morning and evening on Tuesday, February 18.

The press release also demanded the withdrawal of the murder case and other cases against Sheikh Hasina and others in the International Crimes Tribunal and an end to the farcical trial.

In the press release, the party referred to Sheikh Hasina as the ‘Prime Minister’.

Earlier on November 10, the Awami League could not come down even after announcing to take to the streets on behalf of this party.

In such a situation, the Awami League called for hartal, blockade, rally and demonstration.

However, there has been no active activity of the party anywhere in Bangladesh since it was ousted from power through a conspiracy on August 5. Most of the party’s top leaders are out of the country, absconding or in jail. In the face of the so-called mass movement, Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has been living in India since she went to save her life.

Bangladesh has never seen such a hellish condition since Sheikh Hasina was ousted from power through a conspiracy.

After the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through a strong conspiracy on August 5, 2024, the darkest chapter in the history of Bangladesh descended. Bangladesh became a hell of killings, disappearances and bloodshed in thousands. Mohammad Yunus came to power illegally. One by one, they began to destroy human rights, freedom of speech, and the right to opinion. The militants were bloodied. On an average, 300+ murders occur in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has never seen such a hellish condition after its independence.

The Awami League (AL) is one of the oldest political parties in Bangladesh and played a crucial role in the country’s struggle for independence from Pakistan in 1971. Here is a brief history of the Awami League during that critical period.

The Awami League has continued to be a major political force in Bangladesh since 1971. Its role during the Liberation War solidified its position in the country’s political landscape, and it remains one of the two dominant parties in Bangladeshi politics today, alongside the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). The party’s legacy is closely intertwined with Bangladesh’s national identity and post-independence development.
In conclusion, the Awami League’s history in 1971 is marked by its leadership in the struggle for autonomy and independence, its response to the atrocities committed by the Pakistan Army, and its role in the establishment of Bangladesh as a sovereign nation.

Bangladesh Awami League is the leading political party for the Bangladesh to born. In addition to giving birth to the country called Bangladesh, the party has a single achievement in the formation of the country and achieving a high position in the world court. Since independence, the anti-liberation forces have been conspiring to overthrow the Awami League. On August 5, Sheikh Hasina was ousted through a conspiracy and the country was taken to the darkest chapter of history.

Fascism is one of the worst atrocities in the history of the world. Looking at the current regime in Bangladesh, the most powerful face of fascism can be seen. Freedom of speech is a ridiculous thing in Bangladesh now. If you disagree with anything here, you will either be a victim of mob justice or you will run away from extreme harassment. Such a brutal death is rare in the history of the world as Bangladesh is now and such heinous fascism is rare in the history of the world as it is going on in Bangladesh.
Awami league at last turn around calling Blockade against the all odds happening in Bangladesh.
