Emma Stone’s Classic Rom-Com Movie Now Available Online

Emma Stone’s beloved 2010 romantic comedy Easy A is now available for Prime Video subscribers in the UK and Ireland. The film, which helped catapult Stone into stardom, follows the story of Olive Penderghast, a high school student who gains a reputation for promiscuity while trying to increase her popularity.

In addition to Stone, Easy A stars Penn Badgley, Stanley Tucci, Lisa Kudrow, Amanda Bynes, Patricia Clarkson, and Malcolm McDowell, with Natasha Bedingfield’s catchy hit Pocketful of Sunshine serving as a memorable soundtrack feature.

For those who haven’t yet subscribed to Amazon Prime, a 30-day free trial may be available, offering access to Prime Video and other services without cost for the first month (be sure to cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges). Alternatively, you can subscribe exclusively to Prime Video for £5.99 per month.

When the film was first released, media described Emma Stone’s performance as the film’s standout, praising her charm and wit despite her character’s morally questionable actions.

Although a spin-off was announced in 2019, no further developments have emerged since then. Emma Stone’s career has since skyrocketed, earning her two Academy Awards for her roles in La La Land and Poor Things. Meanwhile, Penn Badgley has recently wrapped filming for the final season of Netflix’s You, with the fifth season set to premiere on April 24, 2025.
