Australian Open WinCinears Three In Three

Yanik Cinema played the first two finals in the Grand Slam last year. Both won – Australian Open and Taylor Fritz after defeating Danil Medvedev and US Open. Today, he played the third Grand Slam final in his career, winning Alexander Javerev 4-5, 6-7 (3), 3-1 games this year’s Australian Open.

Siner’s saga does not end here. He became the first Italian tennis player to win three Grand Slam titles. Became the first player since Rafael Nadal to retain his first Grand Slam title. Nadal also won the 2006 French Open after 2005. Ciner is the fourth player to win two consecutive titles at Melbourne Park. Andre Agassi, Federer and Novak Djokovic have previously achieved this feat.
