This Time, Trump Warned Putin About War

US President Donald Trump has given a warning message to Russia. He said the country would face sanctions if Russia does not reach an agreement to end the war in Ukraine. This information was given in a report of the news agency Reuters.

Trump said on his social media platform Social Truth that Russian President Vladimir Putin must stop this war or he will take action. The US president said, settle now, stop this ridiculous war. Otherwise the situation will worsen.

Trump was sworn in as US President last Monday. Then on Wednesday, he opened his mouth about Putin for the first time. “If you don’t make a deal, I will have no choice but to impose higher tariffs, tariffs and more sanctions against Russia and other belligerents,” Trump said. US president said, if I was the president, this war would not have started. Turn it off now. We can walk easy or hard roads. The easy road is always better. So this is the best time to make a deal. No more lives should be wasted.

During the election campaign last year, however, Trump said he would stop the war by talking to Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky within 24 hours of becoming president. But he did not say how the war would end. It is not clear what Trump means by more sanctions now.
