Putin is Destroying Russia Without Deal to End Ukraine war: Trump

New US President Donald Trump said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is destroying Russia by not making an agreement to end the war in Ukraine. He said this on the first day of assuming office as the president yesterday Monday. Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States yesterday. He took the responsibility of the US President for the second term by taking the oath. After taking office, Trump went to the Oval Office of the White House yesterday and signed several executive orders. At this time he answered various questions of journalists.

At that time, Trump criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for not making an agreement with Ukraine to end the war. He said he (Putin) should make a deal. He is destroying Russia by not making a deal. The Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for almost three years. Trump believes that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has good will to end the war. Zelensky wants an agreement to end the conflict. Trump said that most people think that this war will stop within a week.

Trump said during his election campaign that if he was elected president, he could end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. Journalists asked him yesterday about his earlier promise to end the war in Ukraine. In response, Trump said, “Good point.” Half a day has passed. I have half a day left. We will look into the matter.

Earlier, Trump addressed the supporters gathered at the Capitol One Arena after being sworn in as US President. The new US president has hinted that the Ukraine and Gaza wars would not have happened if he had been in power. “You’re going to see a lot of good things happen,” the Republican leader said. “We’re going to stop some wars,” Trump said.
