President Trump’s First Action as President: Tosses Pens into Crowd After Signing Executive Orders

In a lively and symbolic gesture, President Donald Trump marked his first actions as the 47th President of the United States by signing a series of executive orders during his inaugural parade at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Following the signing, Trump tossed the pens he used into the enthusiastic crowd, creating a memorable moment for his supporters.

The indoor parade, attended by an estimated 20,000 people, featured marching bands, speeches, and performances. Despite the frigid temperatures outside, the atmosphere inside the arena was electric as Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and their families celebrated the beginning of Trump’s second term in office.

Among the executive orders signed were measures to withdraw from the Paris climate accord, freeze federal hiring, and require federal workers to return to in-person work. The crowd cheered as Trump displayed the signed orders and tossed the pens into the audience, blending the theatrics of his campaign rallies with the formal powers of the presidency.

This event set the tone for what promises to be an eventful and ambitious second term for President Trump, as he aims to fulfill his campaign promises and implement significant policy changes.
