Where Is Biden Going On His Last Day?

Sunday (January 19) marks Joe Biden’s final full day as President of the United States since he will be succeeded by Donald Trump on Monday.

It has been reported that on his last day as President, Biden will visit South Carolina, where he will also observe the national holiday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

The White House announced that Biden will visit the Royal Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston.

Additionally, he will attend an event at the International African American Museum in the city.

Monday is a national holiday in the United States to honor Nobel Peace Prize winner Martin Luther King Jr., who supported nonviolent resistance in the fight for equal rights for Black Americans. He was assassinated in 1968.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump will take the oath of office on Monday as Biden’s successor.

On the other hand, Trump is set to hold a campaign-style victory parade in Washington on Sunday.

The “Make America Great Again” victory march is scheduled to take place at 3 p.m. local time. This will mark Trump’s first major address in Washington since the Capitol Hill incident on January 6, 2021.
