Tehran, August 23 – Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir will visit Iran’s capital Tehran on Monday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said on Sunday.
Baghaei said the visit is taking place as part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen regional peace and security.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry provided no further details about Munir’s visit, including his planned meetings or the specific issues expected to be discussed.
The announcement comes as Iran and Pakistan continue diplomatic engagement on regional security and stability.
