Joe Biden’s Prostate Cancer Has Spread to His Bones, Son Says

Date:

Former US President Joe Biden’s prostate cancer has spread to other parts of his body, including his bones, and he is suffering from severe pain, his son Hunter Biden has said.

Speaking to the BBC in an emotional interview, Hunter Biden said the cancer had spread to his bones and “deeper” into his body, according to the Associated Press.

“It is extremely painful and has weakened him in many ways,” Hunter Biden said, describing the condition of his 83-year-old father.

Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis was first made public in May last year, less than four months after he left the White House.

Speaking about his father’s health, Hunter Biden said it was extremely difficult to watch him go through the illness.

“I think he would be better off if he complained a little more, because the current situation is not good at all,” Hunter said, reflecting on the severity of his father’s condition.

Despite his illness, however, Joe Biden has continued to make public appearances and speak on issues he considers important, according to his son.

Hunter Biden said his father remains engaged and continues to work, adding that the former president still has deep faith in the United States.
