Donald Trump Calls on Iran to ‘Surrender Unconditionally’

U.S. president rejects negotiations and says Tehran must accept surrender before any future political settlement

Washington — Donald Trump has ruled out any immediate negotiations with Iran to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, saying that only “unconditional surrender” by Tehran would lead to a settlement.

In a post on social media on Friday, the U.S. president said there would be no compromise unless Iran agrees to surrender without conditions.
Trump wrote that after such a surrender and the selection of a “great and acceptable” new leader in Iran, the United States would work with its allies and partners to help rebuild the country.

He also pledged that Iran could become economically stronger, more advanced, and more prosperous than before once the conflict ends.
The U.S. president has previously stated on several occasions that whoever leads Iran in the future must be someone acceptable to Washington.

Echoing his well-known campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” Trump ended his message with a similar phrase directed at Iran — “MIGA,” short for “Make Iran Great Again.”
His remarks come amid rising tensions in the region following ongoing Israeli military actions against Iranian targets, raising concerns about a broader escalation of the conflict.
