U.S. Highlights ‘Operation Epic Fury’ as Major Offensive Against Iran

White House says American forces have destroyed key military sites and weakened Iran’s missile and naval capabilities

The The White House has announced significant progress in a major military campaign known as Operation Epic Fury, describing it as a decisive offensive targeting Iran’s military infrastructure.

According to a statement released on March 5, the operation is being carried out under the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump, with American forces launching extensive strikes against facilities linked to the Iranian government.

The White House said the operation has targeted thousands of strategic locations across Iran, including command centers, missile launch sites, air defense systems, production facilities and military airfields. Officials also reported major damage to Iran’s naval assets, including warships and a submarine.

The statement described the campaign as part of Washington’s effort to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons and to reduce what the U.S. calls threats to regional stability and American interests.

Updates shared by United States Central Command indicated that U.S. air and naval forces are playing a key role in the operation. Long-range bombers such as the B-52 Stratofortress have reportedly been used to strike Iranian ballistic missile facilities and command structures.

U.S. military officials said the campaign has significantly weakened Iran’s missile capabilities and reduced its ability to threaten U.S. forces and regional allies.
Washington maintains that the operation is intended to protect American citizens and restore stability in the Middle East, while further developments continue to be closely monitored by international observers.
