World’s Largest Aircraft Carrier Arrives in Israel Amid Fears of U.S. Strike on Iran

Deployment of USS Gerald R. Ford and U.S. refueling aircraft fuels speculation of potential military action in the Middle East.

The United States is increasing its military presence in the Middle East amid growing speculation over a possible strike on Iran. As part of the buildup, the world’s largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, arrived off the coast of Israel on Friday (February 27), according to Israeli media reports.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that prior to the carrier’s arrival, around 20 U.S. refueling aircraft landed in Israel late Thursday night. Earlier, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority said that four KC-46A Pegasus aerial refueling aircraft had arrived at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.

Media reports suggest that the significant U.S. military deployment in the region is linked to preparations for a potential military strike on Iran. Analysts believe Washington is bolstering its forces to prepare for any possible escalation in the Middle East.
However, the U.S. military has not issued any official statement regarding the arrival of the aircraft carrier or the refueling planes.
