“No Proof That Imran Khan Is Alive”

Son Claims: Imran Khan Has Been in Jail for 845 Days

Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s son, Qasim Khan, has made serious allegations regarding his father’s imprisonment. He said Imran Khan has been in jail for 845 consecutive days and has been kept alone in a “death cell” for the past six weeks. No family member has been allowed to visit him. Even though there are court orders permitting visitation, prison authorities are not allowing anyone to meet him.

Qasim claimed that Imran Khan’s sisters have also been denied permission to visit. He added that neither he nor his brothers have had any communication with their father and that there is “no proof of life.”
He wrote, “This entire dark situation is not a security measure. It is a deliberate attempt to conceal his condition.” He warned that the government and ‘its handlers’ must be held accountable.

Qasim called for intervention from international human rights organizations. He said the “inhumane isolation” imposed on Pakistan’s “most popular political leader” must end immediately, and proof must be provided that Imran Khan is alive.

Sister Claims Extreme Censorship in Pakistan

Imran Khan’s sister Noreen Niazi claimed that horrific censorship is taking place in Pakistan. She told ANI that journalists and media owners are being detained and intimidated.
She said, “Censorship is so severe that media people are picked up… they are pressured so much that after being released, they cannot speak.”

Niazi added that several well-known journalists have fled the country and that their passports and assets have been seized. “We have read about Hitler’s era… the same thing is happening in Pakistan,” she said.

She also claimed that Shehbaz Sharif’s government is extremely unpopular, saying the election was manipulated and the government is weak and repressive. She believes Western countries know about Pakistan’s “deception” but will not act.

PTI Leaders Protest: Court Orders Being Ignored

PTI leaders also continue to protest strongly.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi failed to meet Imran Khan for the eighth consecutive time. On 27 November, he staged a sit-in near Adiala Jail, but police did not allow him or PTI workers to reach the gate.
Afridi said court orders are being violated. He questioned why a representative of 25 million people is being blocked. He alleged that Imran’s sisters, lawyers, and doctors are also being denied entry.

PTI leaders such as Zulfi Bukhari and Meher Bano Qureshi have demanded a clear and transparent statement from the government about Imran Khan’s health and urged immediate visitation rights for his family.

Prison Authorities Deny All Allegations

Adiala Jail authorities have denied all allegations. They said the reports circulating on social media are “baseless.”
Officials claimed that Imran Khan is “completely healthy” and has not been moved anywhere. They added that no emergency medical situation or dangerous development has occurred.

Rumors intensified after several foreign social media accounts claimed Imran Khan had died in jail. However, none of these claims were confirmed by any reliable source.

Sisters Allegedly Assaulted by Police

Rumors gained further traction after Imran Khan’s three sisters—Noreen Niazi, Aleema Khan, and Dr. Uzma Khan—claimed that they were peacefully protesting outside the jail when police carried out a “brutal and planned” attack.

They said streetlights were switched off, and they were dragged away. Noreen Niazi said she was pulled by her hair and injured. They have been unable to meet Imran Khan for over a month.

Adiala Jail is under the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. She said she has “no control” over visitation issues.
Earlier, Imran Khan had claimed that all matters in the jail were being controlled by an army colonel.
