With less than a year to go, fans around the world are gearing up to secure their seats for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The tournament marks the first time three nations will jointly stage the event and will also be the largest edition ever, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches across 16 cities.
Ticket Sales Timeline
FIFA has announced that tickets will be released in three phases:
Phase One:
- Begins Wednesday, September 10 at 11 a.m. ET.
- Open to fans aged 18 and over with a FIFA ID account and Visa cardholders.
- Registration for the presale draw runs until September 19.
- Winners, chosen randomly, will be notified from September 29 and given a time slot to buy tickets starting October 1.
Phase Two:
- Scheduled for late October.
- Fans can register for the “Early Ticket Draw” from October 27–31.
- Successful applicants will be able to purchase tickets between mid-November and early December.
Phase Three:
- Will open after the December 5 group-stage draw.
- Fans can apply for tickets to specific matches.
- Any remaining tickets will later be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. FIFA will also run an official resale platform to protect fans against fraudulent or unauthorized ticket sales.
Prices and Hospitality Packages
- Group stage tickets start at $60.
- Final tickets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey will cost up to $6,730.
- Hospitality packages are already available at select venues.
