Israel Warns of Renewed Strikes on Iran if Threatened

Jerusalem – Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has issued a stark warning to Iran, vowing that Israel will strike again if it perceives a threat from Tehran. Speaking at an air force graduation ceremony, Katz declared:

“Israel’s long arm will reach you in Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, and anywhere you try to threaten or harm Israel. There is no place to hide.”

Katz added that “If we must return, we will do so with greater force.”

The comments come just weeks after a 12-day Israeli air campaign against Iran in June, which raised fears of a wider regional war. That confrontation ended with a U.S.-brokered ceasefire, announced by President Donald Trump on June 23.

During the conflict, Israel struck Iranian nuclear sites, citing concerns that Iran was nearing the capability to produce a nuclear weapon — a claim Tehran continues to deny. The United States also took part in the campaign, targeting Iranian nuclear facilities.

The situation remains tense as Israel reaffirms its readiness to act if necessary. In his speech, Katz emphasized Israel’s resolve to prevent any existential threats, while Israeli military officials have remained tight-lipped on future plans.

Tensions between the two nations have remained high amid ongoing violence in Gaza and broader regional instability.
