Iran Can No Longer Build Nuclear Weapons: U.S. Vice President

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has claimed that Iran has lost its ability to build nuclear weapons following recent American airstrikes. He made the statement in an interview with Fox News, as reported by Turkey’s TRT World.JD Vance said, “We have now reached a position we were not in even a week ago. A week ago, Iran was almost ready to develop nuclear weapons. Now, they have lost that capability because we destroyed their essential equipment.”This comment came at a time when President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. After 12 days of conflict, this ceasefire suggests a reduction in tensions in the Middle East.Vice President Vance stated, “Tomorrow marks a new beginning. The end of a 12-day war and the termination of Iran’s nuclear program. I believe this is a major step toward peace in the Middle East.”Last weekend, the United States directly sided with Israel and carried out airstrikes in Iran, targeting three major nuclear facilities. Among these was the secret Fordow enrichment center.In retaliation, on Monday, Iran launched several ballistic missiles at the U.S. Al Udeid base in Qatar.
