Israel Launches New Attacks in Southern Iran

Israel has launched new attacks targeting military installations in multiple areas of southwestern Iran, according to a statement from the Israeli military on Saturday.The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that Israeli warplanes have begun fresh strikes on military facilities in southwestern Iran. However, the statement did not specify exactly which areas were targeted.Earlier in the day, the Israeli military reported that at least eight unmanned drones entered Israeli airspace within an hour. These drones reportedly entered between 10:16 AM and 11:27 AM local Israeli time.The IDF said that Iranian drones were detected across a wide area—from Eilat in southern Israel to the northern region bordering Syria. Israel’s air defense systems have been actively working to intercept these threats.According to the IDF, they successfully intercepted at least five of the Iranian drones. Surveillance is ongoing for the remaining three.
