Israel’s Defense Minister Orders Airstrikes to ‘Destabilize’ Iran

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has ordered intensified airstrikes on Iran’s capital, Tehran, aimed at ‘destabilizing’ the country’s government system. On Friday morning, he gave this directive during a meeting with IDF (Israel Defense Forces) Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi and other top military officials.Katz said, “We will target all symbols of the ruling regime and its oppressive mechanisms in Tehran. The Basij forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) will be in our sights.”He added, “Our objective is to ensure the evacuation of people from Tehran, so that the foundations of the government are shaken and the fear of attacks increases. Through this, we will respond to Iran’s missile strikes inside Israel.”“At the same time,” he said, “we will continue targeting their nuclear program by striking Iranian scientists and facilities.”The Israeli Defense Minister confirmed that the attacks will continue “until all military objectives are achieved.”
