Iranian Foreign Minister to Meet European Counterparts in Europe

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to meet with the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany tomorrow (June 20) in Geneva. According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, he is also expected to meet with Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.Following widespread discussions on social media regarding the meeting between the Iranian delegation and European foreign ministers, Abbas Araghchi confirmed the development in an interview. AFP has reported that Iran’s nuclear program will be on the agenda during these discussions.Meanwhile, Israel continues its series of attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear facilities. There are also growing concerns that the United States may launch an attack on Iran. In this tense situation, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has issued a warning to the United States.He stated, “If the United States actively intervenes by supporting Israel, Iran will have no other option. In that case, we will use our weapons, teach the aggressors a lesson, and defend ourselves.”He added, “Our advice to the United States is this—if you cannot stop Israel’s aggression, at least stay out of it.”He also mentioned that Iran’s military decision-makers are prepared with all possible options.
