19 Palestinians Killed in Gaza Amid Intensifying Israeli Strikes

In the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks have claimed the lives of at least 19 Palestinians and left 72 others injured, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. Among the casualties are three aid workers from the humanitarian organization World Central Kitchen (WCK), who were killed during strikes in the southern city of Khan Younis.

Israel Alleges Involvement of Aid Worker in October 7 Attacks

Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that one of the three deceased WCK workers, identified as Ahed Azmi Qadih, was allegedly involved in the October 7 attacks on Israel. Adraee claimed that Qadih had been under intelligence surveillance and was targeted based on “reliable information.” However, no evidence supporting this claim has been publicly presented.

An Israeli attack on a vehicle in Khan Younis reportedly killed five people, including the three WCK workers and two volunteer rescue workers. The Israeli military has not acknowledged the deaths of the other victims in this incident, and WCK has yet to release a statement.

Bombardment in Jabalia Leaves More Dead

Israeli airstrikes in the northern Gaza city of Jabalia have resulted in at least three more deaths and several injuries. Earlier reports indicated that a drone strike near the Halimah al-Saadiyah School in Jabalia had also killed one person.

Ongoing Conflict

The escalating violence continues to exact a heavy toll on civilians and aid workers in Gaza. As attacks intensify, the humanitarian crisis in the region worsens, with little sign of de-escalation.
