Air India Plane Crashes Moments After Takeoff at 825 Feet Altitude

The Voice News: An Air India aircraft carrying 242 passengers has crashed shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, located in the western coastal state of Gujarat, India.

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, operated by the country’s private airline Air India, was en route to Gatwick Airport in London, United Kingdom. The flight, designated AI 171, plunged unexpectedly into a residential area just minutes after takeoff when it had reached an altitude of 825 feet.

All 242 passengers were on board at the time of the crash. Further details about casualties or rescue operations are yet to be confirmed.
