Dhaka, 6 August 2026, The Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has reopened the application process for forming new committees in 12 of its organizational units after technical problems disrupted the submission of candidates’ curricula vitae (CVs).
In a special notice issued following an emergency decision of the organization’s Central Executive Committee, BCL said technical errors in the previously announced email addresses had temporarily prevented applicants from submitting their CVs and supporting documents.
The affected units include the Khulna District, Khulna Metropolitan, Narayanganj District, Rajshahi District, Joypurhat District, Naogaon District, Bagerhat District, Dhaka South District, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University, and the Combined Nursing Education Unit.
According to the notice, aspiring candidates for leadership positions in these units have been instructed to submit their CVs and required documents via email to cvbslmail@gmail.com between August 7 and August 13, 2026.
The organization also directed applicants to clearly mention the name of their respective unit in the subject line of the email. Applications that fail to identify the relevant district, metropolitan, university, or institutional unit in the subject field will be rejected.
Candidates are required to submit a recent photograph, copies of their national identity card and birth certificate, educational identification or enrollment documents, certificates from all public examinations, the certificate or transcript of their most recently completed examination, and any supporting documents related to extracurricular achievements, including sports, cultural activities, information technology, community service, or other relevant qualifications.
The move is expected to resume the committee formation process that had been temporarily delayed due to the technical issues.
