Date:

The Muslim Brotherhood has announced its support for Iran. The organization made this declaration by sending a message to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.According to a report published on Thursday (June 19) by Middle East Monitor, the Muslim Brotherhood declared full support for Iran. Dr. Salah Abdel Haq, the acting General Guide of the organization, conveyed this announcement in an official message to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.Abdel Haq stated that the current conflict is not just Iran’s alone, but rather marks a new chapter in the ongoing assault against the regional resistance movement. He emphasized that Iran’s support for the Palestinian resistance is a major reason for the intensification of the attack. In the message sent on Wednesday, he described the Israeli attacks as a strategic surge aimed at reinforcing the dominance of occupying forces in the region. He remarked that such attacks have been made possible due to the unconditional support of the United States and some Western countries. He also referred to the collapse of the Israeli military during the October 7, 2023, ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ operation.Abdel Haq further noted that the Israeli occupying forces do not differentiate between nation, community, or religious faction—they target all who support the resistance. This includes major entities like the Islamic Republic of Iran and Islamic movements such as the Muslim Brotherhood. He called for unity in confronting the enemy and urged that historical and communal differences be overcome. He stressed the need for a comprehensive Islamic strategic alliance to tackle the crises spanning from Palestine to Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran.
