Meanwhile, more than 1.5 million international pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia this year to perform Hajj, according to Ghassan Al-Nuaimi, spokesperson for the country’s Ministry of Hajj. However, the number of local Saudi pilgrims for this year has not yet been disclosed.
