Elon Musk Calls Trump’s Senate Megabill ‘Political Suicide’ Ahead of Key Vote

WASHINGTON – Billionaire Elon Musk, former head of President Donald Trump’s advisory Department of Government Efficiency, reignited his attacks on Trump’s sweeping legislative package just hours before the Senate’s critical vote on June 28.Musk warned that the proposed bill would “destroy millions of jobs” and called it “utterly insane,” saying it provides “handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future.” He declared in another post that polls show the bill is “political suicide for the Republican Party.”The comments came on Musk’s social media platform, X, where he has 220 million followers.
