What Netanyahu Said During His Visit to the Affected Area

Date:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Israel’s partnership with U.S. President Donald Trump, calling it “unbelievable.”Speaking to journalists after visiting a hospital in southern Israel damaged by Iran’s attack, Netanyahu said he speaks with the American President almost daily.Netanyahu stated, “I believe in his (Trump’s) firm resolve, his strong character, and his clarity—especially when he says that Iran will not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons and will not be allowed to enrich uranium.”He noted that Trump had offered Iran the opportunity to halt uranium enrichment through negotiations, but they tried to deceive him. “You cannot do that with Donald Trump,” the Israeli Prime Minister added. When asked about possible U.S. involvement in the conflict, Netanyahu said, “That is a decision for the President (Trump) to make, but they are already providing a great deal of support.”He further mentioned that Israel will eliminate the nuclear threat from Iran through military operations.“At the end of this campaign,” Netanyahu said, “there will be no nuclear threat to Israel, nor any threat from ballistic missiles.”He also stated that Israel has already significantly damaged Iran’s nuclear program.
