Israeli Airstrike Kills Iranian Military Chief: IRNA

The Voice News: Iran’s Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, has been killed in an Israeli airstrike, according to Iran’s state news agency IRNA.State broadcaster Press TV also confirmed that Major General Bagheri died in the Israeli strike. In a separate attack, Major General Hossein Salami, head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, was also reported killed.On Friday, June 13, Israel launched airstrikes targeting dozens of Iran’s nuclear and military sites. Tel Aviv has declared that the operation marks the beginning of a long-term campaign aimed at preventing Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.Fearing retaliatory missile and drone attacks from Iran, Israel has declared a nationwide state of emergency. Operations at Ben Gurion International Airport have been suspended until further notice.Meanwhile, Iran has already launched attacks on Israel using over a hundred drones.
