Make a Deal, or Face Even More Devastating Attacks”: Trump Warns Iran

The Voice News: Following Israeli strikes that killed top Iranian officials and targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities, U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Tehran to strike a deal before it’s too late. In a message posted on social media early Friday, Trump wrote, “There has already been massive loss of life and destruction. But there is still time to stop this carnage. Because the next attack will be even more devastating.” The U.S. news outlet Politico reported this warning.On Thursday night, Israel carried out attacks targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, military bases, top scientists, and government officials. An Israeli military spokesperson stated that in retaliation, Iran launched over 100 drones. The escalation has raised fears of a large-scale new war in the Middle East.Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Friday, “The Zionist regime has brought upon itself a painful and severe consequence.”Trump accused Iran of failing to seize multiple opportunities to end its nuclear program and strike a deal during his administration. He stated, “I warned earlier—this will be worse than they could ever imagine. The United States builds the best and deadliest weapons in the world. And Israel has many of them—more are on the way.”He further added, “The Iranian hardliners did not heed my warning. Now, they are all dead. And this will not stop here!”World leaders have expressed grave concern over the escalating tension. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen described the situation as “deeply concerning” and urged all parties to remain calm, de-escalate tensions, and avoid retaliatory actions.NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte told reporters in Stockholm, “The most urgent task now is for Israel’s allies to work together to reduce tensions.”
