Israel Deploys Troops Nationwide Amid Fears of All-Out War

The Voice News: Israeli military has announced that it is implementing lessons learned from the 2014 war, as tensions escalate and the threat of a full-scale conflict looms large.In a televised speech, Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi (mistranslated as “Eyal Zamir”) stated, “Our military is deploying over 10,000 troops and preparing across all borders.” He warned, “Anyone who tries to challenge us will have to pay a heavy price.”Halevi further added, “To the people of Israel—I cannot guarantee total success. The Iranian regime will try to retaliate against us. The consequences of this attack will differ from our previous experiences.”He emphasized that Israel had been preparing for this operation well in advance. “To counter real and immediate threats, all branches and divisions of the military have made an unprecedented effort,” Halevi said.Earlier on Friday, Israel launched a five-phase military operation across Iran, according to an unnamed Israeli military official cited by The Times of Israel. The official stated that hundreds of airstrikes were carried out, targeting at least eight different cities.Iranian media outlets reported hearing six to nine explosions across Tehran, some even striking residential buildings.In response, Tehran has vowed a strong retaliation for Israel’s deadly assaults, including attacks on nuclear facilities and other key locations.Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff, stated, “The Zionist aggression will be met with a decisive response from the Iranian armed forces.”He further warned, “Israel must be ready to pay dearly for its actions and for the severe retaliation from Iran’s military.”This conflict marks one of the most dangerous escalations in the Middle East in recent years, raising fears of a broader regional war.
