SANCTIONED: 100 Targets Fueling Putin’s War Machine

The United Kingdom, Ukraine, and key European allies have announced a sweeping package of sanctions targeting 100 individuals and entities supporting Vladimir Putin’s military campaign. The coordinated move comes in response to renewed Russian drone attacks that continue to claim civilian lives across Ukraine.

These latest sanctions aim to dismantle the financial and industrial networks enabling Russia’s war effort. Those targeted include arms manufacturers, drone suppliers, logistics firms, and Kremlin-linked financial institutions. The measures are part of a broader international effort to apply maximum pressure on Moscow as the war enters a new phase of escalation.

The sanctions follow a unified call—led by former U.S. President Donald Trump and backed by Ukraine, the UK, and Europe—for a full and unconditional ceasefire. Despite this appeal, Russia has intensified its assault, launching deadly drone strikes in eastern Ukraine over the weekend.

“These sanctions are a direct strike at the heart of Putin’s war machine,” said a UK government spokesperson. “They are designed to cut off the resources and networks keeping his military aggression alive.”

Ukrainian officials welcomed the move, calling it a critical step in holding Russia accountable and pushing for peace. Civilian casualties from recent attacks highlight the urgent need for international action, as diplomatic efforts remain stalled.

As the humanitarian toll rises, Western allies have made it clear: continued aggression will only result in deeper economic and political isolation for Russia. The message to the Kremlin is unequivocal—stop the war or face the consequences.
