Thousands Join Tiranga Yatra to Honor Indian Armed Forces and Operation Sindoor

New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a grand Tiranga Yatra in the national capital on Sunday, celebrating the valor of the Indian Armed Forces and the success of Operation Sindoor. Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra, who led the event, lauded the forces for their decisive actions across the border.
“For the first time in world history, armed forces have destroyed the air bases of a nuclear power country and eliminated terror strongholds,” Mishra declared, commending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the precision of the forces. Thousands of citizens participated, waving the national flag and expressing their solidarity with the soldiers.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah joined the nationwide initiative from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, praising the forces in a social media post: “The brave soldiers of the country have made Operation Sindoor synonymous with the elimination of terrorism with their valor.”
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also took part in the Tiranga Yatra in Nagpur, echoing support for the armed forces and urging communities to extend the campaign to local panchayats.
The Tiranga Yatra, launched by the BJP on May 13, will continue until May 23, with events held across the country to honor the military’s bravery and raise awareness of Operation Sindoor’s significance.
