Pope Francis Passes Away at 88: Celebrities Honor His Legacy

Pope Francis, the beloved leader of the Catholic Church, passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 88. Sylvester Stallone commended the Pope for his kindness and compassion, while Whoopi Goldberg praised his inclusive messages, emphasizing his ability to unite people of all faiths. Jimmy Fallon, who met the Pope in 2024, shared his fond recollection, writing on Instagram, “It was an honor meeting Pope Francis last summer. I’m glad I made you laugh. Thank you for your encouraging words. Rest in peace.”

British royals King Charles and Queen Camilla also expressed their sadness, joining the global community in mourning the loss of a man who touched millions with his kindness and humility.
